Integrative therapy

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches, including humanistic, psychodynamic and solutions-focused, to support you in a way that feels right for you. There is no single path through therapy, so I work flexibly, blending techniques from different schools of counselling to meet your individual needs.

 

I believe the relationship we build together is at the heart of the counselling process. Feeling safe, understood and accepted makes it possible to explore your thoughts and feelings openly, and this supportive relationship is where real change begins.

Person-centred

At the centre of my work is a person-centred, relational approach: I see you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you reflect, explore, and make choices that feel right for you. My role is not to direct or advise, but to provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard and understood.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic counselling explores how your early life experiences and relationships may have shaped the way you think, feel, and behave today. By increasing awareness of these patterns, therapy can help you understand yourself more deeply and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Solutions-focused

Solution-focused therapy is a practical, goal-oriented approach that concentrates on your strengths and resources. It helps you identify what is working well and take positive steps towards the changes you want to see.
